Compare structured-grid and Gmsh discretizations on the same geology input.
This script is a side-by-side benchmark for the 2D workflow. It runs the existing cartesian example and the Gmsh example from comparable configs, then collects summaries, plots both meshes, and highlights how the discretized geology and resulting values differ.
Use it when the question is not “does the Gmsh path run?” but rather “how does it behave relative to the structured baseline on the same field data?”.
